In this Xfer Serum tutorial, I’ll show you how to achieve a REALLY close sound to that with only one additional EQ. I used Ableton’s Stock EQ 8 to do this, but you can do this with any of your DAW’s EQ or any other, like Fabfilter’s PRO-Q3 or TDR NOVA (FREE). This brass stab is more commonly used in progressive house, melodic house, and melodic techno, although you can use it wherever you see it fits.
