Le Youth is an amazing producer and what he’s done in his track ‘Miraje’ was simply amazing. The amount of automation and change that he makes on his pluck really sets it apart from a lot of sounds that I’ve listened to in the past year and it’s a really good example of how you can go crazy with sound automation, even though you’re not really changing the structure of the sound.
Let’s listen to what we’re recreating today:
As usual, we’re using Xfer Serum to recreate this pluck, but you can definitely use something like Vital or DIVA to recreate this preset as well. Let’s start with the tutorial now:
Beautiful, right? The amount of automation Le Youth did it there really inspired me to do the same on my own tracks and it just took the break to a whole new level. Instead of a steady and non-changing pluck, it’s something now really dynamic and with a lot of change. As usual, if you want to grab this preset, you can do so by clicking on this link.
If you liked this preset, you can get 60 AMAZING presets from my preset pack over here. If you want to see other presets from Anjunabeats, you can head over to my Youtube Channel or you can head over to our blog to watch more recreations. I highly recommend you check the FM pluck I did a couple of weeks ago on Lane 8’s track Atlas or Ben Bohmer’s bassline from his track ‘In Memoriam’
