Today, we’re going to create the sounds from the breakdown of Tinlicker’s Remix of Children by Robert Miles from scratch without anything written down just by using our ears instead of having the all the parameters pre-written as we used to do. These presets came for a preset pack that we’ve made for Freshly Squeezed Samples called Serum Future Progressive Volume 3 and you can get them over here.
As usual, we’re using Xfer Serum for this tutorial, but you can use any other synth of your preference. If you don’t have SERUM, you can try using Vital from Vital Audio, which is almost exactly like Serum and FREE. But, let’s listen to what we’re recreating today:
We’re not going to work on the percussive elements today, but we’re recreating the melodic ones right now!
Really fun, right? You can grab the presets from this video over here, or you can grab the original presets from Freshly Squeezed Samples pack over here
If you liked this preset, you can get 60 AMAZING presets from my preset pack over here. If you want to see other presets from Anjunabeats, you can head over to my Youtube Channel or you can head over to our blog to watch more recreations. There are a bunch of tutorials you can check from Tinlicker, including the basses that fit amazing in their drops that you can check in this post, or you can check how you can make a drop like Nora En Pure’s ‘Life on Hold’ over here
Lastly, if you want to keep on learning, you can support this website by getting me a coffee over here so we can keep on uploading videos like this.
